This certification includes both Level 1 (outdoor use) and Level 2 (use in a wash-down area) for all these models.  To the best of our knowledge, Hydro Tek is now the only manufacturer offering complete compliance with these rigorous standards on their entire line of Electric motor Hot Water Pressure Washers.  Achieving Level 2 standards is particularly significant in that it requires the unit to be “blasted” with a high flow of water (from all angles) for 10 minutes and still maintain its electrical integrity! ETL is equivalent to UL and our certification is also equivalent to the Canadian CSA B140.11 certification.

CETA Performance Certification Standard
Hydro Tek's pressure washers have received certification from CETA under the CETA Performance Certification Standard. This standard clearly defines performance criteria and test procedures for certification of hot- and cold-water pressure washers. CETA certification guarantees the buyer that the products are designed, built, and tested to rigid performance standards. Machines must operate within +/-5% of advertised performance rating. Data for all Performance Certified models are on file at CETA headquarters, and periodic peer review ensures consistent quality.
